Sailing on the High Seas

I have been stitching away with a somewhat nautical intent this week. Spring has sprung in the world of textiles and boats and buoys have been making my world swim!

Walking On The Sea..

Yes, you read the title correctly. I am Jesus. I can walk on water, I'm pretty good at it too. Please form a orderly queue and I'll deal with all of your problems!

I'm only joking of course, I'm most definitely not Jesus, but I can walk on water, when it is frozen. On Sunday we all went out to Jurmala in Latvia, near Riga. It is the seaside, and in the summer is swarming with beach goers. It the winter, the sea freezes and it is definitely not busy, apart from mad people like us who want to go a walking on the frozen sea!
